Summer Fun!

We have been having such a blast this summer doing all sorts of fun things...so many that I am way behind on posting, so I am just going to put a miscellaneous assortment of pics from the last couple months....blueberry picking, birthdays, playdates, swimming, family, traveling, new babies, etc... (I couldn't fit captions on all of them-I am not technically good at blogging. Most pics are self-explanatory anyways!)

Hilton Head

They day after the Nashville cousins left (July 6th) we headed to Hilton Head for five days with my aunt, uncle and cousins Chad and Jack from Philly. We stayed at Bill's friend Kevin's awesome five bedroom house in Palmetto Dunes. We had sooo much fun. The boys loved MK and Annalee and were so good with them. Chad is 11 and Jack is 8-they played with MK the whole time and also held Annalee quite a bit. It was so adorable! This trip was really neat becaue I had been to Hilton Head a lot as a young child and it was neat to see Mary Katherine enjoying the same things-the lighthouse at Harbortown, the treehouse playground and watching Greg Russell sing under the Liberty Tree. I have great memories of my cousin Jesse and I singing and dancing to Greg and to watch MK do the same was amazing (by the way he has been singing there every night for 33 years!). However, MK really seemed to jive to "Rocky Top," which I hope made daddy happy:) The beach was fun and I forgot how different it was from the Gulf-great sand for building. Our trip ended too soon and we really miss everyone:( We are making it our goal to fly to PA sometime this year, seeing them once a year is not enough!

Aquarium, Pool and the 4th!!!

We had the best long weekend with Jay's sister and her fam. Allison, Chris, Caleb and Maddie came to visit Thursday-Sunday this past week. We crammed as much fun as we could in-we went to the GA Aquarium (my first time!), out for Mexican, to the pool, to my parents' for a cookout and to see fireworks in Roswell. We had an absolute blast, but are totally worn out!!! I am sure I am speaking for everyone! The cousins all loved playing together and got along so well. Mary Katherine loves Caleb and calls him "K". The two them could get into a lot of trouble together! We are so proud of them for letting us drag them all over town with mininmal meltdowns! Tomorrow it is to the beach with my aunt and uncle and their kids and then back to Nashville for Maddie's 1st birthday. We can't wait to see everyone!!!
