All About MK

After she powdered her face with Mommy's loose powder
First salad

Loves it!

I feel like I have just been posting pics left and right and haven't really talked about Mary Katherine in forever. So, I am going to be annoying and talk about how adorable my baby girl is because I am a parent and that is what we do, right? I am not saying my kid is the best, smartest, etc...I just am saying we love her so much and she is the most important thing in our lives for sure! Everyday I thank god for Mary Katherine and every little thing about her. She is right about 15 months now and just the busiest little thing ever. She runs everywhere and has the same legs as her daddy and Grandma Connie. Of course we think she is so strong and will be a little gymnast and a dancer and play a variety of sports. I can't wait till she is 2 and we can get her into these activities! MK is also so loving and cuddly. She loves to give us hugs and kisses and snuggle in our bed with us to watch tv. She is even gentle and loving with Bentley who she adores. Here are some of her other favorites:

Toys: her baby dolls! (she calls them mamas), leapfrog school bus, playhouse, musical instruments, her Little People, the Fisher Price ride on school bus and most of all her pink kitchen and all the little utensils and pots and pans. Also, she loves to imitate mommy. She puts on my headbands, carries purses and bags on her arm (and even the asparagus steamer) and tries to put rollers in her hair and brush it with my giant brush.

Words: says a ton of words, some favorites are daddy (or dadu), mom, mommy, "G" (curious george), Cook (cookies or the cookie monster), Bob (bottle), Ba (passy), "C" or "D" (my mom-Cindy), Hop (my dad), door (obsessed with doors and shutting them), ball, baboon (balloon), bath, dog, kitty, socks, hi and thank you (sometimes sounds like dan-chu)!

TV/Books: Curious George! and all other PBS shows, Noggin and Playhouse Disney shows. Loves her "Tails" book and "Each Peach Pear Plum" and any word books

Food: blueberries, eggs, watermelon, oranges, cantaloupes, honeydew, graham crackers, cheerios, lima beans, potatoes, raspberries, bananas, cheese, chicken, spaghetti & meatballs and the latest-salad!!!! (see pics below) She pretty much eats anything and is very healthy!

Of course MK has no idea that Annalee will be here in about 3 1/2 months, but since she LOVES other children and babies then we have high hopes!!! Overall, we could not have asked for a better baby-sleeps, eats, loves, play by herself, obeys and is rarely sick. Keep your fingers crossed that Annalee is this easy!

Salad?! Really I wish Tatum could eat it ... she can't chew it.
But she eats anything else that we put in front of her ...

She is adorable, and if you take the new baby well so will she, she will follow your lead! It is fun, hard, rewarding, exhausting and most of all the best in the world!
