Annalee's 1st Birthday Party!
Last Saturday before Easter we had Annalee's 1st Birthday Party with all our friends (a few weeks early!). I thought it would be chaos with sixty people, but it turned out to be a hit. We utilized the flat backyard and had a bounce house for the kids and then had an Easter egg hunt on the side yard. Joe & Heather Herrig catered the party with awesome food-brats, burgers, hotdogs, grilled chicken, tater tot bar, fruit, veggies & hummus and deviled eggs. The only thing I had to make were the cupcakes and a smash cake for Annalee, which were so much fun with the new decorating kit I bought. Annalee was so tired and had to take a nap in the middle of her party...she also hated the cake and didn't hunt any Easter eggs (probably b/c she is not walking). She did however enjoy a little time in the bounce house! Instead of presents we asked everyone to bring diapers, new socks or new underwear for the Foster Care Support in Roswell. It was a huge success! Right now we are "recovering" from spring break at Tops'l and getting ready for Jay's family to come in town for Annalee's real birthday and baptism this weekend.

Katie, you did such a great job with Annalee's party. The cake and cupcakes look awesome. Did you do the cupcakes too? I am sure you were exhausted after hosting 60 guests....
Ansley would have loved the bounce-house, she is obsessed with any princess :)
Double-fisting the cupcakes was my favorite part! Great party and the cupcakes were delicious!
